Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") describes the types of products, services, and activities that are prohibited when using the payment processing and checkout services provided by (Flintn TM, "we", "us", or "our") acting as Merchant of Record (MOR).
The purpose of this Policy is to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and network obligations and to protect our buyers, Merchants, and payment partners from misuse and high-risk activities.
General Principles
All Merchants using our platform must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in every country where they operate or sell products.
We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any Merchant account or transaction that violates this Policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable laws.
Prohibited Products and Services
Merchants are not permitted to use our platform for products, services, or activities that are illegal, deceptive, or that may harm consumers or our payment partners. The following categories are strictly prohibited:
1.
Illegal or Regulated Content
•
Products or services that violate any applicable law or regulation;
•
Counterfeit or stolen goods, including unauthorized replicas or "gray market" items;
•
Unlicensed or pirated digital products, software cracks, or serial keys;
•
Products infringing on intellectual property rights, trademarks, or copyrights.
2.
Adult, Obscene, or Exploitative Content
•
Adult entertainment (including live cams, escort services, or sexually explicit material);
•
Sex toys, sexual enhancement products, or fetish items;
•
Any material depicting exploitation, violence, or non-consensual acts.
3.
Gambling, Betting, and Gaming
•
Online casinos, poker, betting, or lotteries;
•
Sports betting, fantasy leagues with cash prizes, or prediction markets;
•
Unlicensed skill-based gaming with real-money rewards.
4.
Financial, Investment, and High-Risk Products
•
Cryptocurrency exchange, mining, or wallet services (unless pre-approved and licensed);
•
Forex, binary options, or speculative trading;
•
Unregulated investment schemes, ICOs, or high-yield "get rich quick" programs;
•
Unlicensed money transmission, remittance, or lending activities.
5.
Drugs, Controlled Substances, and Health Products
•
Sale of illegal drugs, prescription medication, or drug paraphernalia;
•
Cannabidiol (CBD) or cannabis-related products, unless explicitly approved and compliant with local law;
•
Unverified supplements, steroids, or products making misleading health claims.
6.
Weapons and Dangerous Materials
•
Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or related accessories;
•
Knives, stun guns, or weapons designed to cause harm;
•
Fireworks, hazardous chemicals, or radioactive materials.
7.
Fraudulent or Misleading Practices
•
Pyramid or Ponzi schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM) not approved by us;
•
"Work from home" or fake job scams;
•
Misrepresentation of products or failure to deliver purchased goods;
•
Manipulation of checkout or payment processes.
8.
Sanctioned or Restricted Activities
•
Transactions involving individuals, entities, or countries subject to sanctions (OFAC, EU, UN, or UK lists);
•
Any activity that could violate anti-money-laundering (AML) or counter-terrorist-financing (CTF) laws.
Prohibited Conduct
Merchants and buyers may not:
1.
Use the Service for fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior;
2.
Attempt to bypass payment limits, verification, or fraud controls;
3.
Interfere with or disrupt system integrity or security;
4.
Collect or process cardholder data in violation of PCI DSS or privacy laws;
5.
Use our checkout to process payments unrelated to legitimate product sales.
Review and Enforcement
We continuously monitor transactions to ensure compliance with this Policy and may review Merchant activity at any time.
If we identify prohibited activity, we may take one or more of the following actions:
1.
Suspend or terminate the Merchant’s account or access to the Service;
2.
Freeze or delay payouts pending investigation;
3.
Reverse or block transactions;
Report activity to regulators, payment networks, or law enforcement where required.
Decisions regarding enforcement are made at our sole discretion.
Updates to This Policy
We may amend this Policy from time to time to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The latest version will always be available on our website, with the effective date shown above.
