Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of the services, systems, and checkout facilities provided by Flintn TM, a company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus ("Flintn", "we", "us", "our"), acting as Merchant of Record.
This Policy applies to all end-customers, account holders, and any person or entity accessing or using the Flintn platform (collectively, "Users"). It forms part of Flintn’s Terms of Sale and shall be interpreted in conjunction with:
•
Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Laws of 2007–2021 (Republic of Cyprus);
•
General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR);
•
Directive (EU) 2015/849 as amended byDirective (EU) 2018/843 and Directive (EU) 2018/1673 (5AMLD & 6AMLD);
•
Relevant EU, UN, OFAC, and other applicable sanctions regimes.
Prohibited Activities
The following categories of activities are strictly prohibited on the Flintn platform:
1.
Unlawful Conduct
Users must not engage in:
•
Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws, regulations, or regulatory guidance;
•
Money laundering, terrorist financing, or proliferation financing, as defined under thePrevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Laws of Cyprus and FATF Recommendations;
•
Transactions involving individuals, entities, or jurisdictions subject to EU, UN, OFAC, or other applicable sanctions;
•
Tax evasion, fraud, corruption, bribery, or any other predicate offences as defined in Directive (EU) 2018/1673 (6AMLD).
2.
Fraudulent or Misleading Practices
Users must not:
•
Use stolen, counterfeit, cloned, or otherwise unauthorized payment instruments;
•
Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information during onboarding, transaction processing, or customer support communications;
•
Initiate false, unfounded, or abusive chargebacks or refund claims.
3.
Prohibited Goods, Services, and Content
The sale, distribution, or facilitation of access to the following is prohibited:
•
Controlled substances, narcotics, and related paraphernalia;
•
Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons;
•
Counterfeit, stolen, or infringing goods;
•
Gambling services provided without a valid licence in the relevant jurisdiction;
•
Adult content or services that violate applicable laws and content restrictions.
4.
Platform Misuse and System Abuse
Users must not:
•
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent authentication, authorization, or security controls;
•
Conduct unauthorized access, interference, or penetration testing without Flintn’s prior written consent;
•
Perform automated scraping, crawling, or any excessive automated request activity that impairs system performance;
•
Resell or transfer tickets, vouchers, or access rights in violation of applicable resale laws or the terms set by the original issuer.
Compliance and Monitoring

Monitoring and Screening
All transactions and account activities are subject to ongoing monitoring, including sanctions and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) screening, and transaction monitoring in accordance with Flintn’s AML/CFT Policy, Transaction Monitoring Policy, and applicable laws. Personal data collected in connection with monitoring and enforcement under this Policy will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
2.
Information Requests
Flintn may, at its sole discretion, request additional documentation, identification, or explanations from a User to verify compliance with this Policy, applicable laws, and contractual obligations.
Enforcement Measures
Where Flintn reasonably suspects or determines that a User has engaged in any prohibited activity, Flintn may, without prejudice to its other legal rights or remedies and without prior notice:
1.
Suspend or permanently terminate the User’s access to the platform and services;
2.
Cancel or refuse to process any pending orders or transactions;
3.
Retain, block, or freeze funds in accordance with applicable law;
4.
Notify and/or cooperate with competent authorities, regulators, financial intelligence units, or law enforcement agencies;
5.
Initiate legal proceedings to recover losses or enforce contractual and statutory rights.
Flintn shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, cost, or expense suffered by the User as a result of enforcement measures taken under this Policy. This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and any dispute arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nicosia, Cyprus.
Changes to This Policy
Flintn may amend this Policy at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, operational, or security developments. Updated versions will be published on Flintn’s website and will take effect upon posting, unless a different effective date is stated. Continued use of the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. In addition to publishing updates to this Policy on our website, Flintn will notify registered users by email of any material changes that may affect their rights or obligations under this Policy.
